Sara Green

Currently making fine silver, semi-precious and precious bead, and origami earrings.
Each origami is hand folded from a special silver clay paper that when fired and burnished becomes 99% fine silver. No two are exactly alike and all have a silver sheen.

The cranes are not charms--here is a page that briefly describes the process of making origami from the special paper.

Please contact me if you are interested in buying or have requests. I can make the origami into pendants also.
I take a wide variety of requests--every single piece is hand made.

The base price as of now is $25.00 for a pair of earrings; the more expensive beads or multiple beads will cost more, while a pendant will cost less. There is no difference in price for a post or hook, but for more I can make earings with sterling silver clasp hooks. California residents will be charged 7.75% sales tax on all items. I accept PayPal, checks drawn on U.S. banks, and money orders (USPS prefered). I do ship internationally. Shipping and handling in the U.S. is $4.50.

Pictures of the semi- and precious stone beads I have on hand with examples on a crane.

Traditional Japanese Crane Origami Earrings
Generally they are made with sterling silver hooks, but I can make them with sterling silver posts or, for those who cannot wear earrings with impurities in the metal, fine silver hooks. I also make pendants with various sized findings.

I will be expanding the range of beads and origami forms available as I am able. Currently, I have ruby, green jade, garnet, sodalite, citrine, hematite, freshwater pearl (green shade), malachite, the stones listed above, and a few other beads available to use and am working to find origami folds that work as earrings.

I don't have pictures of all the Swarovski crystals I have on hand; however, you can look at the Clear Swarovski Crystal example to see what shapes and sizes of beads I have and can get in a large variety of shades. There are also other shapes I can use if you have something specific in mind.
